This Privacy Policy explains how the Sale Scheduler app ("Sale Scheduler", "the app") collects, uses, and protects information when you ("the Merchant") install and use the app on your Shopify store. Sale Scheduler is published and operated by NUVALEX ("NUVALEX", "we", "us", or "our").
Sale Scheduler is a Shopify app that lets merchants schedule product discounts and automatically restore original prices when a sale ends. The app is designed to collect as little data as possible.
1. Information we collect
When you install and use Sale Scheduler, we store the following data, strictly to operate the app:
- Store identification: your Shopify store domain (e.g. your-store.myshopify.com) and basic store settings such as your store's timezone.
- Authentication data: the access token and session information provided by Shopify that allow the app to securely connect to your store's admin.
- Product pricing data: the original prices of the products you choose to put on sale, stored so they can be restored when the sale ends. This includes product and variant identifiers and their price values.
We do not collect, store, or process any personal data belonging to your customers (the shoppers on your store). Sale Scheduler does not access customer names, email addresses, shipping addresses, payment details, or order information.
2. How we use information
We use the data above solely to:
- apply the discounts you schedule;
- save your products' original prices and automatically restore them at the end of the sale;
- operate, maintain, and secure the app.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we never sell it.
3. Data storage and security
Your data is stored in a secured PostgreSQL database hosted on Fly.io infrastructure located in the United Kingdom (London region). Access is restricted and protected by authentication. All communication between the app, Shopify, and our servers takes place over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
4. Sharing and subprocessors
We do not sell or rent your data. We share data only with the infrastructure providers required to run the app:
- Shopify — the platform on which the app operates and from which the data originates.
- Fly.io — our hosting and database provider.
These providers process data only on our behalf and for the sole purpose of operating the app.
5. Data retention and deletion
We keep your data only for as long as the app is installed on your store. When you uninstall Sale Scheduler, or upon a verified deletion request, the data associated with your store is deleted from our database.
Sale Scheduler also implements Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact). Because the app does not store any customer personal data, customer-related requests are acknowledged with no data to return or erase; the shop deletion request removes your store's data from our systems.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of the data we hold about your store. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. You can also delete all stored data at any time by uninstalling the app.
7. International data transfers
Our infrastructure is located in the United Kingdom/Europe. If you access the app from another region, your data may be transferred to and processed on these servers, with appropriate safeguards in place.
8. Children's privacy
Sale Scheduler is a business tool intended for use by merchants. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 16.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
